Samsung releases small but urgent update for Galaxy S7 edge

Both the Galaxy S7 and 5.5-inch Galaxy S7 edge are constructed with 3D glass and metal - all in a sleek design with durability and ergonomic curves for a comfortable grip. T-Mobile is selling a 32GB S7 handset for $669.99 after 24 payments ($27.92 for 23 months plus $27.83 for the final payment), or an S7 Edge for $779.99 after 24 payments ($30 a month for 24 months after $59.99 down).

The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge can now be ordered from T-Mobile, and the carrier has launched a buy-one-get-one free offer similar to AT&T for a limited period. At the time of purchase, all taxes and fees will need to be paid for both devices.

Several US carriers including T-Mobile, AT&T, US Cellular and Verizon have started accepting pre-orders of the two phones.

Verizon has removed a feature from the Samsung Galaxy S7.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 features a 5.1-inch super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Exynos 8890 chipset. Nearly no matter where you end up picking up a Galaxy S7 (until March 18th), you'll get a free Gear VR to go with it.

Goldgenie are also offering their renowned Gold-plating service to customers who already own Samsung devices. Many theories sprung up as to why that could be the case, especially with Verizon being a partner of Google's Android Pay, which is in direct competition with services like Samsung Pay and Apple Pay. In addition to this, the Gear VR headset and a year's subscription of Netflix will also be bundled for free with each order. Then, starting Friday, customers nationwide can visit their local participating T-Mobile store to get a full hands-on Samsung VR experience. These phones will be available in three different colours - Black Onyx, Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium. The latest Galaxy S7 Edge and S7 handsets are water-resistant and are powered by Qualcomm quad-core 2.15GHz/1.6GHz processors for U.S. users and include 4GB of LPDDR4 memory, 32GB of built-in storage, microSD expansion slots, a 12-megapixel dual-pixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
